Shelby Yard is a residential drainage contractor based in Memphis, Tennessee. We provide French drain installation, catch basin installation and replacement, downspout drainage, foundation drainage, landscape grading, and sump pump discharge services to homeowners in Memphis and surrounding communities within a 30-mile radius (Germantown, Collierville, Bartlett, Cordova, East Memphis, Lakeland, Arlington, and Millington).

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and we do not share your mobile phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes.

  • Message frequency varies based on your active service request or project.
  • Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

  • Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any service from us.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may vary; Shelby Yard and its carriers are not liable for any delays or failures in message delivery.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only in the limited circumstances described below:

  • Service providers: We use trusted third-party tools to operate our business — including our CRM platform, email delivery service (Resend), payment processor (Stripe), and Google Workspace tools (Calendar, Drive). These providers access your data only to perform services on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Technical consultant: Our civil engineering consultant, Dr. Farhad Jazaei, Ph.D., may review site assessment data (property address, drainage conditions, elevation measurements) for the purpose of providing engineering guidance on your project. He does not receive or retain your contact information for any other purpose.
  • Referral partners: If your job was referred to us by a partner (plumber, real estate agent, home inspector, etc.), we may share your name and job-completion status with that partner for the limited purpose of tracking the referral.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or other legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of any person or to address fraud or security issues.
  • Business transfers: In the unlikely event that Shelby Yard is sold or merged, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent notice on our website before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

5. Data Retention

We retain customer records — including contact information, job details, quotes, and invoices — for a minimum of seven (7) years to support warranty claims, legal recordkeeping, and tax compliance. After that period, records are securely deleted or anonymized unless we are required by law to retain them longer.

Web analytics data is retained for up to 26 months.

If you request deletion of your information and we are not subject to a legal obligation to retain it, we will delete or anonymize it within 30 days of your request.
